Venezuela has 43 national parks that make Venezuela a virgin tourist destination but the world, with many possibilities for ecotourism really know, and enjoy something truly unique.

National Parks in Venezuela are large areas which are represented in one or more of the most important ecosystems in the country, or natural or scenic areas of national or international significance which have not been substantially altered by human action and where the plant species and animals, habitats and geomorphological conditions are of particular interest to science, education and recreation.

May be decreed as national parks, areas enclosing relatively large representative samples of the exceptional nature and not entirely unique landscapes modified by human action.
