Coral reefs, coastal mangroves, seagrass beds of lhalassia testudinum. Important refuge for fish and birds of high scenic value. | Wildlife: | Nesting and feeding areas for several species of sea turtles, large numbers of resident and migratory seabirds. Enormous diversity of marine invertebrates and fish wealth of importance to artisanal fisheries. Among mammals caramerudo deer (Odocoileus virginianus), herring whale (Balaenoptera edema), common dolphin (Delphinus delphis). | Flora: | Mangle (Rhizophora mangle) and coastal species such as grass of glass (Salicornia fruticosa, Sesuvium portulacastrum and Batis maritima), beach batatilla (pescaprae Ipomoea), several cacti like cacti (Pilosocereus sp.
