I've been involved with creating digital panoramic photo from 1994 where I bought the first 800px x 600px Ricoh camera in the world. In those days, I would take a series of photos from the top of the mast of the sailboat obsession. I would then have to patch those photos on my laptop taking a very long time in Corel Draw. Stitching the digital files together to create a cylindrical panoramic experience and exported to QuickTime VR. A cylindrical panorama allows you to zoom in our out and click and drag on the image to go left or right, but as a cylinder, you can look all the way up or down.

Now it's different and much better:

Today modern 360 ° panoramas provide a complete immersive experience that allows a visitor to be placed directly within your location. Visitors can click and drag to specific areas of a picture and zoom in to see more details. Multiple scenarios can be joined to create a virtual tour. With new ways of delivering 360 panoramic photography to computers, tablets and mobile devices, we are even seeing a resurgence of the panoramic picture of the industry. 360 ° panoramic photography can be used to:

The website of Los Roques 360 is my first showcase for panoramic 360 °. The national park has some of the most varied and beautiful landscapes on the planet.
